Jamie Jacobson Counseling

M.S., Professional Counselor Associate
Supervised by: Candace Walters, LPC, CADC I, ACS

I believe we all hold the capacity to heal by finding strategies that fit our unique challenges. As a Professional Counselor Associate currently accepting new clients, I understand that life transitions can bring feelings including overwhelm, anxiety, sadness, and self-doubt. Traumas from our past can continue to have effects long after the event is passed. You don't have to carry these feelings and you don't have to face them alone. I offer a supportive, collaborative space to explore these areas and reflect your strengths and build your coping skills to empower you to create your own pathways to healing.

My approach is eclectic and client-centered, drawing from ACT, IFS, CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, and Polyvagal-informed practices. For clients who find creative expression meaningful, I also integrate music and the arts into therapy—through songwriting, listening, or instrumental work—as another pathway to growth.
